So tomorrow i fly into LA. It’s been a while and some heat and sunshine is now long overdue. All the dudes will be about so it should be a fun trip with the potential of a roadtrip on the cards too..AZ maybe!

Cheers to dirtbox for sorting me out some lovely gear, be sure to purchase something soon to keep yourself looking decent!

Headed back home this past weekend and Manchester did not disappoint, frost, ice and everything. Team Lomax and Burston busted out nicely.

Oh ye, hit up a local rollerdisco, first time that i had ever been to one and it was alot of fun, they also have a few ramps beside the rink, dan stirling aka schoolboy rocked the house with some gnarly shit while still injured Sam Tuffnell did all the impossible in a pair of quads!

So much for regular updates.

So since the last post, Oli Short and Gab both came to Brighton, wet weather killed any playtime so i broke my sober pact and got my drink on, below is East Sussex’ proudest resident..AC Slater working in none other than our local kebabish,

The lad with the huge smirk is none other than Manchester’s Tom Ashmore, he also came to visit and spoilt our house rotten! He also posed for a rad photo whilst the waves were crashing high,

During this same weekend ‘the motherfucking man of the year’ also visited briefly, Sam Butt, who got married this Summer. As per usual i’ve slacked on uploading any wedding snaps i took but here is one (got carried away, there’s 3 now),

Also drove my friend’s band to London for an XFM live session, went down great and got treated to a Chipotle, can’t complain one bit! A month or two back i made a live music video for their new EP ‘Hexagons’, filmed at the oldest picture house in the UK, Brighton’s Duke of York’s cinema it has now been streamed online as a live visual project and had a great reception. The single from the EP and edit of it will be online soon to watch freely,

Lastly, i did some photos for local menswear store Peggs&Son,

So it’s been way to long since my last update, but i am now going to try and keep on top of it and just post whatever is going on, because generally..alot is always happening.

Right now i am shooting with Oli Short and Gabriel Hyden in London, unfortunetly Gab took a nasty slam on his heel which has taken him out of action, but here are a few snaps from the day also featuring the unstoppable Elliot Stevens and swine Billy Doyle!

Just booked some flights to head out to the US for a few weeks.

Friends of mine whom i have also done some promo shots for, the band ‘Esben and the Witch’ are on a whirlwind tour of the States as we speak in support of ‘Foals’ and i was lucky enough to be invited to cruise along for a little while.

So as well as traveling with them all the way upto Vancouver, Canada, i shall be hitting up some buddies along the way to get a bit of skating done, firstly Stockwell who was featured in my last post, then upto SF for the Valo premiere and some good hangs with Carl Sturgess then i shall end the trip by grabbing shotgun with Erik Bailey back to his hometown of Boise, Idaho.

The below photo was shot in Brighton and was used for Esben’s promo to announce their signing to Matador Records,

Below was a photo taken whilst Jeff Stockwell was on tour with Chris Farmer and Demetrios George all throughout Europe, and come to think about it, like the previous post this photo was taken exactly this time last year.

This was published in the Zero issue for French Magazine ‘Arrogance’. So it seems only fair that it now sees the light of day.

So it’s been 4 months or so with no update or nothing….SLACK!

From now on this is gonna be updated daily, whether it be decent content or nonsense, iphone photos / film / or digi, whatever i see in the day that i find interesting could make it as my ‘photo of the day’, or it might be something from the archives, as lets face it, 4 months of nothing, even being a man of leisure, a shit tonne has taken place.

So for todays which may cross over as tomorrow as we are close to 12, is the good old Brighton pier, it never gets old. Shot almost a year ago on my diana with a 35mm back, completely out of focus and not exposed correctly, i still think it’s rather nice..

O’Neill + Stockwell UK part 2

Jeff has just left us to head onto Shanghai for the Asian X games so now its just Billy who flies back to NYC tomorrow.

The past weekend has been a manic one, traipsing miles around London looking for spots as well as ‘budzing’ hard at familiar spots. Thanks to Tom Penfound for the accommodation and bbq feasts and Neil Ingall’s warehouse for the saturday night fun!

Jeff has all the footage now and will be editing on his 7 hour layover, so expect that to arise sometime soon, below are just a few photos from the last few days and some clips from some of our UK conference lads (joe atkinson, dom west, blake bird) at the crawley stop.
